WECREATE Kenya finalized a 2 year partnership with East Africa Brewaries (EABL) Foundation and Africa Initiative for Rural Development (AiRD) under the project Heshima which is aimed at creating employment through Enterprise Development. The programme saw more than 2,000 women and youth in 10 counties in Kenya gain both entrepreneurship and vocational skills training.
The WECREATE Project was initiated by a public-private partnership between the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs (EB) and GriffinWorx. Each WECREATE Center is tailored to a country’s specific economic concerns and built in a safe and centralized location for women to gain access to vital economically empowering resources.
